Feeding Instructions

Kitten Weaning to 6 Months of Age: Feed 2 1/4 cans per three pounds of body weight per day.

Kitten 6 to 12 Months of Age: Feed 1 1/4 can per three pounds of body weight per day.

Transition Instructions

Gradually transition by adding a small amount of American Journey wet food to your cat’s current diet, reducing the amount of the current diet and increasing the amount of American Journey for 7 – 10 days until the transition is complete. This will allow your cat’s digestive system to acclimate to the new food without causing any tummy upset. We recommend the following protocol:

Days 1-2: 75% old food with 25% new food

Days 3-4: 50% old food with 50% new food

Days 5-7: 25% old food with 75% new food

Days 8+: 100% new food
